Mental health issues are one of the leading factors impacting on society today. It is estimated that over 70% of people greater than 12 months unemployed have some degree of mental health issue. It is important to develop awareness of mental health conditions and issues and how these impact on people's ability to gain and maintain employment.

This 1-day workshop will focus on developing strong awareness of the issues surrounding mental health in Australia. This workshop aims to prepare staff for working with job seekers who present with a range of mental health issues/illnesses.

This workshop focuses on both theory behind specific mental health conditions as well as practical ideas for addressing the mental health needs of people looking for work and those in crisis.
