A New Direction : Understanding the 2009-2012 Employment Services Contract

On September 26, 2008 the Request for Tender for the New Employment Services system (2009-2012) was released. This RFT outlines the services to be provided under the new Employment Services Contract.

2009 will see many changes to the way in which providers service their job seekers including JSCI changes, streamed service delivery, delivering Work Experience programs, changes to outcomes, fees and the compliance framework.

It is vital that providers develop a strong understanding of the new contract as they move through the tender phase and ultimately into a transition to ESC 2009. This workshop aims to take participants through the "nuts and bolts" of the new contract and identify how the requirements of ESC 2009 will impact on them and their staff.
